The first fisherman's sweaters made from a soft blend of recycled oyster shells, recycled water bottles, and cotton. Inspired by vintage style and classic comfort, these garments boast ribbed cuffs and collars to promote thermal regulation and lightweight layers for windy days among the great outdoors.

Known as the Prince of Pirates, Samuel Bellamy sailed from Cape Cod to become one of the wealthiest pirates in the world. During his time, he was known as a "Robin Hood of the Seas" treating both his crew and prisoners well until he ran aground and perished off Wellfleet, Massachusetts in 1717. Donning his famous ensign, our Bellamy SeaWell™ Sweater provides the perfect versatile layer for year-round use.

Cleaning & care:

Hand wash when possible. Turn inside out to machine wash cold & gentle. Lay flat to dry.

Will shrink slightly. Size up for a more comfortable fit.

Each SeaWell™ Sweater reseeds up to 30 oysters & naturally filters up to 1,500 gallons of seawater every day.

    I love my pirate sweater!

    So soft, easy to care for and well fitting. I sized up for a baggier fit, but feel that sizing is true. Company stated that some shrinking was expected, as far as I can tell it was minimal after the first wash. I’ll be recommending long wharf co. to friends and family!

    Love it!

    I accidentally ordered the wrong color sweater. I was disappointed at first, but since the sweater was already here, I decided to try it on for size. And I instantly changed my mind! It felt so good on me, and it actually fit. Not a lot of XXL sweaters actually fit me. I kept the sweater and am about to buy another one. Hopefully, the correct color this time 😁
