The Long Wharf Guarantee


We guarantee the lifetime of each piece.

Each item is covered for production defects or immediate failure of materials. If you're not satisfied with one of our pieces, please send back for refund, repair, or replacement. Any item will be refunded when received in new condition with tags and proof of purchase.

Failure of items to perform their intended purpose through normal wear and usage will be eligible for repair, exchange, or store credit. Please contact us immediately with full details on the cause of damage. Your request will be processed by our Customer Service Team once the item is received and evaluated.

The Long Wharf guarantee does not cover general wear and damage caused by accident or by using the item outside of its intended purpose. This includes animal damage, damage due to mishandling by third parties, extreme wear, or any alterations made to the item. Additionally, abuse of product, neglect, or disregard for the cleaning and care instructions are not covered. Please note every item is subject to an evaluation by our Customer Service Team.

General wear is considered abrasion, fading, stretching, marking or other breakdowns cause by normal use over a long period of time. The lifetime of an item is considered the time period in which an item can serve its intended purpose through normal wear and usage.

Scuffing of waxed canvas and leather is part of the normal wear. This is the protective waxed layer or leather finish serving its purpose. To remove scuffing on waxed canvas, very lightly brush the mark in a circular motion with the rough side of a sponge or a soft brush then wipe smooth with a warm damp sponge or warm damp clean rag. 

Giveaways and discounted items can be returned or exchanged on a conditional basis. Items made by Long Wharf can be exchanged for an item of equal value or store credit without proof of purchase if they are in like-new condition and are returned with tags.
